Where to park in Tetbury

It can often be difficult to find a parking space when visiting Tetbury and if you're rushing to get to a grooming appointment this can be stressful!

So here's a helpful guide on the best places to park if you're visiting us on Tetbury High Street.

Number One - Brewery Lane Car Park, GL8 8LL

Easy to find on the left as you come into Tetbury from the Bath Road, this car park has a short stay and a long stay option. There are around 60 spaces here and this is a pay & display car park. The short stay has two spaces that are free for 20mins, this is often a great option if you're just dashing into town to drop off or pick something up. Walking from this car park takes under 5 minutes.

Number Two - The Chippings Car Park, GL8 8ET

Located above the famous Chipping Steps this car park is a small pay & display option. Half of the car park is dedicated to residential parking so this is something to be aware of. Again, it would take you under 5 minutes to walk from here. This is a short stay car park with the maximum length of stay being 3hrs.

Number Three - The Goods Shed Car Park, GL8 8EY

A great option if you don't mind a short uphill walk into town. This car park is free but not suitable for larger vehicles as there is a height restriction. It also joins up with The Goods Shed and Preston Park walk. This would take a little over 5 minutes to walk from here to the high street.

Number Four - High Street Parking

There is plenty of high street parking available that allows up to 1hr free. Parking is available along Church Street, outside Hobbs Bakery and the length of the left hand side of Long Street.
