When can't we groom your dogs

All our regulars are very comfortable coming to the groom room - it's easy to forget what an overwhelming and sometimes dangerous place this can be for them. Despite our ability to calm dogs, bribe dogs and get tails wagging - sometimes, a groom just isn't on the cards.

When is it not okay to take your dog to the groomers?

When they are in season

"Did you know that seasons last around 21 days? We ask that it’s been at least 5 days since they finished before they come in."

If your dogs pregnant

"We absolutely can not groom them, if you plan on having a litter from your dogs, please pre plan and have them groomed before their season, as we won’t be able to groom them until their puppies have been reared and off to their lovely new homes."

After surgery

"We ask for a minimum on 2 weeks after surgery, depending on the surgery
For example spay or neutering, dental, lump removal ect
Or when your vet has signed them off"

If they are injured

"Due to pain and being uncomfortable  it’s not safe for us to groom your dogs until they have fully recovered from any injuries."

If your dogs been stressed

"for example if you’ve been away and they’ve been in kennels or with dog sitters, big changes in their life such as moving or the loss of family members."
