Walks around Tetbury
The countryside around Tetbury is laced with footpaths and quiet lanes ideal for a good ramble. For something special, the world-famous Westonbirt, The National Arboretum is just a few minutes away. Dogs may be off lead in Silk Wood if under effective control and they return when called. Leads are required on the Downs, at the Welcome Building, restaurant, shop and Treetop Walkway. The Old Arboretum is dog free except for assistance dogs. Forest Live and the Christmas trails allow assistance dogs only. Check Forestry England's dogs page before visiting. Closer to home, the open Cotswold landscape on the town's doorstep is perfect for an everyday stroll.
Pottering around town
